S the First – Sound
I just finished recording the role of Grandma for Aural Stage Studios production of, “Wish You Were Here.” The show will be part of their series, “Dialed In” and will be airing very soon! “Dialed In” is a series of audio vignettes all revolving around the telephone. I’ll let you know when you can catch the show!
S the Second – Sari
I’m currently in rehearsal for, “Miss Witherspoon” by Christopher Durang with my friends at The Theater Project. As some of you may know The Theater Project merged with What Exit? Theater Company earlier this year and are now operating under the banner of The Theater Project and currently in residence at The Burgdorff Cultural Center in Maplewood, NJ. “Miss Witherspoon” will be their first show of the season and their very first production since merging as one company! I’ll be playing the role of Maryamma, a spiritual guide in the afterlife whom the main character of Miss Witherspoon sees as an Indian Woman (hence the Sari!) The show begins its run April 12th and will run till the 29th.

S the Third – Sojourn
I’ll be flying out tomorrow to Quincy, IL with Pushcart Players for a few performances. We’ll be at The Quincy Community Theater, under the Artistic Direction of friend and former Pushcarter, Lenny Bart. We’re also very pleased to have Tricia Bart reprising her role with us in Let Freedom Ring!
S the Fourth – Sniffles
My immune system of steel was no match for the rapid change of seasons so I’ve succumbed to the sniffles that others seem to be experiencing around me. I’m armed with tissues and NyQuil and once I get back from Illinois I hope to treat it with more important S’s – Soup and Sleep.
